He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Grooms and Inez Grooms (Cline); his brothers, Jim and Paul Grooms; his half-brothers, Donnie and Robert Hamilton; and his stepbrothers, Jerry and Fred Cline.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Louderback); his children, Bridey Adams (Allan), Gregory Grooms (Amy) and Christopher Grooms (Shanda); his grandchildren, Zack Grooms (Katy), Summer Leonhardt, Josie, Owen, Noah Grooms and Claire Mangan (Colin); his great grandchildren, Maximus, Atticus Grooms and Boone Mangan; his brother John Grooms (Linda); and his stepbrother Steve Cline.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Xenia Grace Chapel (100 Grace Dr, Xenia, OH 45385).
