He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth W. Haller; and his sister Clair Ann Tinney. He is survived by: his mother Annette Madlinger Haller; his wife Mary E. Haller (Mants); his children, Olivia Allen (Casey), Xenia, Erica Haller and Thomas Haller (Amber); his grandchildren, Walter Lewis, III, Logan Lewis, Landon Allen, Owen Allen and Holden Haller; his siblings, Stephen K. Haller (Doretta) of Bellbrook, Margaret Haller (Mike Reagon) of Windsor, CO. and Susie Hayden (John); his brother-in-law Warren Tinney of Tavares, FL.; his niece Casey Haller; and his nephew Christopher Seedle of Richmond, VA.
