He is survived by: his wife Anna Butts (Darnell); his children, Richard Butts, Julie Jackson and Kimberly Butts; his siblings, Roy Butts, Trudy Kimes, Evelyn Spivey and Marilyn Gifford (Ray); his siblings-in-law, Chris Darnell, James Darnell (Judy), Maryann Johnson (Ray) and Loretta Johnson (Thomas); his grandchildren, Logann Jackson and Carter Jackson; and his nephew Tim Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
