She was predeceased by: her sister Deborah; her granddaughter Taylor; and her nephew Cody. She is survived by: her granddaughter Kali; her great grandchild Joy; her children, Kay, Pat Martin (Jennifer) of Fleming Island, Florida and Joy White (Thomas) of Cedarville, Ohio; her brother Rutt (Annie) of Denver, Colorado; her grandchildren, David Martin, Brooke Staubus (Lang), Dalton Roberts, Rachel White and Samuel White; her great grandchildren, Aria Martin and Lyla Martin; her nephews, Scott Harrell and Jeff Bridges (AnnMarie); and also Rachel. She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
Kay also cared for her father, who had Alzheimer's, until he went into the VA Hospital.
