It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen S. Wade (Xenia, Ohio), born in Jamestown, Ohio, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence E. Pitzer and Dorothy A. Chenoweth Pitzer; and her brother David L. Pitzer. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Wade; her children, Rachel McNabb (Ashley) and Kevin Wade (Keely); her grandchildren, Karisten, Kayla, Karleigh, Kacie Wade and Aidan McNabb; her siblings, Rita Stewart (Gregg), Rose Wallen, Claire Spurgeon, Vaughn Pitzer (Goldie), Mark Pitzer (Jodi) and Joe Pitzer (Susie); and her siblings-in-law, Debra Pitzer, Ula Trubee, Mary Stout, Dan Wade (Jenny) and Gus Wade. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and by many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity in her memory.
