She was predeceased by: her son David Michael Pointer; and her siblings, Elizabeth Louise Weaver (Jackson) and Teddy Lee Jackson. She is survived by: her parents, Ernest Jackson and Nora Jackson; her children, Eric Anthony Hickman (Marsha), Terry Rene Bowden (Hickman), Harlan Richard "Rick" Henderson (Sherry), Vaughn Earl Hoop, Jr. (Bonnie) and Vonda Earlene Bobbitt (Hoop); her daughter-in-law Jo Ann Pointer (Louderback); and her sisters, Virginia Ernestine Terrill (Ted) and Nancy Joan Yates. She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifty-four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
