She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Demmy and Juanita Demmy (Fancher); her husband Floyd E. Merritt; her daughter Karen Ward; and her sons-in-law, Rick Ward and Stephen Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Kay Wilson of Xenia; her great grandchildren, Kenneth Wilson (Angela), Tiffany Edmund (Mike), Kaleb, Alivia, Karley, McKenna and Liam; and her siblings, David Demmy (Linda), Ron Demmy (Michele) and Cindy Miller (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
