She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thomas and Neva Trexler Thomas; her husband Joseph E. "Joe" Haines; her son Thomas Haines; and her son-in-law Michael O'Rourke.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara O'Rourke, Xenia, Thaddeus Haines (Patricia) and Jonathan Haines (Jackie) of Cygnet, OH; her daughter-in-law Sharon K. Haines; her grandchildren, Erin Rankin (Scott), Megan Cummings (Jack), Spenser Haines (Ericka), Samantha Cooper (Brian), Sawyer Haines (Kara), Amber Haines and Carla Cox (Wesley); her siblings, Judie Donovan and Trexler Thomas (Sally); and her sister-in-law Peggy Haines. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
