He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connor and Helen Walsh O'Connor; his wife Irene C. O'Connor (Hoying); his son Dennis O'Connor; and his siblings, Maurice "Marty" O'Connor, Kathleen I. Wolary and Mary Ellen Schaumleffel.
He is survived by: his children, Carmil Mullaney (Rick) of Lakeside Park, KY, Lynn McDonald (Mark), Rose Prater (Allan), Tim O'Connor (Terry Owen) and Patrick O'Connor (Cynthia); his daughter-in-law Tracy O'Connor of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Margaret O'Connor, Brian O'Connor, Andrea O'Connor, Ryan O'Connor, Benjamin O'Connor, Ellen McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Jonathan Prater and Drew Prater; his brother Larry O'Connor (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Janice O'Connor and Francis Hoying. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
