Hobson of Xenia, Ohio, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Griffie Denton Hobson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hobson of Hopkinsville, KY; and his sons, Dr. Jeff Hobson (Rocio), Dr. Bob Hobson (Marilyn), Randy Hobson Lecanto (Jude) and Colonel Mark Hobson.
In the last several years of John's life he whittled walking sticks, sold for donations, which inspired donations of over $27, 000 to a food pantry in Xenia, Ohio.
