It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Robert Kennedy of Xenia, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Kennedy (Chambliss) and Jack R. Kennedy; and his sister Jane Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kennedy (VanHook); his sons, Jeff Kennedy (Wendy) of Houston, TX and Joe Kennedy (Kim); and his stepdaughter Shelly Eicher Kingsolver. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and by many close friends.
