It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Louis Hurley Jr. of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Hurley and Elizabeth Hurley (Loyd); his daughter Phyllis Lynn Hurley; his stepdaughter Cheryl Lynn Lummer; his sister Jane Keller; his wife Lorraine; his sons, Christopher Hurley (Jon Teaford) and John Hurley (Ben Rodrigues); his stepchildren, Stephen Lummer and Melissa Lummer; his grandchildren, Maria Whitaker (Leigh), Miranda Walker (Tony), Ryan Hurley (Sarah) and Shannon Brendel (Kevin); and his stepgrandsons, Ethan Lummer, Elijah Lummer and Evan Lummer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Community United Methodist Church, 100 Country Club Dr., Xenia, OH, 45385, in his memory.
