He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Neff and Betty Smith Neff; and his brother Robert Neff (Richard Neff). He is survived by: his wife Dolores Jane Neff (Mustard); his daughters, Amy Jo Hammond (Mark), Heidi R. King (Jack) and Sarah Lynn Neff; his grandchildren, Megan Delaney, Micah King, Mekayli Hammond, Molly King, Maitreya Satterfield, Marcus King, Ava Adkins, KrisilLynn Neff, Trendon Neff, Peyton, Kinsley and Parker; his sister Jane Ellison; and his sister-in-law Ann Neff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-9959, or to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758541, Topeka, Kansas, 66675-8541, in his memory.
