He was predeceased by: his father Donald James Stoops, Jr.; and his stepfather Kenneth Kratzer. He is survived by: his mother Linda K. Kratzer (Faulkner); his children, Amber Ross of Fairborn, Tabitha Balduff of London and James Darrin "Little D" Stoops II of Michigan; his siblings, Jeffrey Duane Stoops of Xenia, Jerry Dale Stoops of Xenia and Susan Lynn Pace of Xenia; his close friend Tim Combs; and his grandchildren, Peyton, Spencer, Carson, Arianna, Desiree and Amarion. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
