He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen and Agnes Lenore Getchell (Gilbert); and his wife Beverly J. Getchell (Stevens). He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Nicole Getchell; his sister Melissa Kisiah (Tim); and his nephews, Timothy Kisiah (Annelies) and Jamie Kisiah. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews; as well as numerous friends.

The family asks that donations be made to the Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care, 8069 Washington Village Drive, Dayton, OH 45458.
