He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gresham and Mary Gresham (Ansell); his wife Marcella (Hartman); and his siblings, Clara Kiel, Dorothy Gresham, Peter and Donald Gresham.

He is survived by: his sons, John A. and Thomas E. Gresham; his grandsons, Joshua J. and Sean A. Gresham; his great grandchildren, Aaron J., Zayne and Zhavia Gresham; and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Terry, Jeaninne and Matthew Connolly.
