He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Cooper and Inez Cooper (Cartee); his wife Ardene; and his siblings, Elwood (Margie), Ervin (Velda), Everett (Wilma), Frank (Doris), Melvin, Hubert, Herbert Cooper (Helen), Dorotha Jessie (Harold) and Marie Jordan (Roy).
He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Cooper, Revonna Smith (David) and Xenia; his granddaughters, Aubrey Frost (Mitch), Auriel Bohn (David) and Hayley Cooper; and his great grandchild Briar Frost. He is also survived by several brother and sister in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
