She was predeceased by: her father Tommie Lee Gillespie; and her grandparents, Bernice Arnold, Vena Richard and Francis Myers. She is survived by: her mother Debbie Gillespie; her brothers, Matthew Gillespie of Atlanta, GA and Jeremy Gillespie of Durham, NC; and her aunt Donna Jones. She is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
