It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herschel Eugene Rhoads of Xenia, Ohio, born in Highland County, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Rhoads and Margaret Rhoads (Gustin); his former wife Elsie Jeanett Rhoads; and his siblings, Sandy Hayslip-Homer, Martha Gall, Lucille Rhoads, Shirley Quigley, Ray, Richard and William Rhoads.
He is survived by: his wife Creada Rhoads; his sons, Mike Rhoads of Wilmington, Mark Rhoads of Wilmington, Steve Rhoads (Lori) of Georgia and Bruce Rhoads (Jill) of Blanchester; and his siblings, Robert Rhoads (Venita) of Wilmington, Sarah Speaight (Richard) of Missouri, Peggy Speaight (Eldon) of Wilmington, Sharon Adams (Rick) of Clarksville, Brenda Mobley (Michael) of Blanchester and Debbie Napier of Blanchester. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
