She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Edward and Elma Brandenburg; her spouse Ballard Coy Bowen; her stepfather Harmon Fraley; her siblings, Delana, Celest and Darvon J.; and her grandsons, Richard Wright and Travis Franks.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Ritchie (Hershell) of Spring Valley, Debra Lakes (Keith) of Cape Coral, Mary Ann Stewart, Jerry (Rosemary) of Xenia and Michael of Xenia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives, and many many close friends.
