He was predeceased by: his parents, James Massie and Mildred Massie (Oty); his wife Mary Massie (Phillips); his daughter Marcia Marie Massie; and his siblings, Norma Jean Insko, Kenny and Robert Massie.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Urive (Conrad) and Robert Massie of Beavercreek; his grandchildren, Leisa O'Dell, José Urive, Natalia Urive, Paul Massie and Carla Massie; and his sister Marie Wisecup. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
