He was predeceased by: his parents, Trace Hilderbran and Ethel Shivener Hilderbran; his grandson Chad Hilderbran; his son-in-law Brian Oglesbee; and his siblings, Lucille, Oscar, Kenneth, Gene and Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Hilderbran; his children, Linda, David, Jan and Carole; and his sister Alice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
