With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold A. Delaney Jr. of Xenia, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by : his father Harold A. Delaney, Sr.; and his brother Michael Delaney. He is survived by : his mother Verna Delaney (Poole); his wife Mary E. Delaney (Cyphers); his daughter Amanda Delaney; and his siblings, Karen Evans, John Delaney, Patrick Delaney (Judy), Julie Sanford, Elise Starkey (Mike) and Kevin Delaney (Stephanie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery (4100 W Third St, Dayton, OH 45428). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harold's Family's Residence.

His family requests no flowers and that donations be made, if desired, to the Harveysburg VFW Post 1646.
