He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Thompson and Nellie Thompson (Richards); his wife Freda C. Thompson; and his siblings, Woodrow, Orville (Marjorie), Homer Jr., Neil Thompson, Constance Thompson, Frances Davis (Carl) and Mary Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Thompson (Sudha) and Davina Bieniek (Michael); his grandchildren, David, Daniel Bieniek, Shaila, Neena and Sona Thompson; his siblings, Dwight Thompson (Barbara) and Donna Reeder; and his sisters-in-law, Roma and Marilyn Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
