He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey and Martha Knauff Vogler; his grandchildren, Alexis Smith (Jenna), Jerilyn Holston (Brian), Tyler Smith (Katie), Dustin Smith and Drew Smith; his wife Linda Sue Vogler; and his siblings, Agnes Abbott Moore, Helen Nealon, Gladys Knox Coyle, Hazel West, Victor Vogler, Donald Vogler and Ronald Ray Vogler, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter Carla Sue Smith (Bruce); his great grandchildren, Leeava, Liliann, Emarie, Jordie and Bruin; his sister Darlene Howell (Larry); and his siblings-in-law, June Vogler, Chery Fork, Shirley Roe, Xenia, Judy Johnson, Carl Hanson (Cindy) of Blue Creek and Mike Hanson (Sandy) of Blue Creek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
