He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Rhoads and Margaret Rhoads (Gustin); his former wife Elsie Jeanett Rhoads; and his siblings, Sandy Hayslip-Homer, Martha Gall, Lucille Rhoads, Shirley Quigley, Ray, Richard and William Rhoads.
He is survived by: his wife Creada Rhoads; his sons, Mike Rhoads of Wilmington, Mark Rhoads of Wilmington, Steve Rhoads (Lori) of Georgia and Bruce Rhoads (Jill) of Blanchester; and his siblings, Robert Rhoads (Venita) of Wilmington, Sarah Speaight (Richard) of Missouri, Peggy Speaight (Eldon) of Wilmington, Sharon Adams (Rick) of Clarksville, Brenda Mobley (Michael) of Blanchester and Debbie Napier of Blanchester. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
