Garry L. Koogler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garry L. Koogler of Xenia, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Garry departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Garry. Though Garry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Everett Koogler and Winifred Smith Koogler; and his brother Robert Koogler. He is survived by: his sister Sandy Hurley (Sally Jo); and his children, Justin Koogler (Amber) and Stephanie Long (Joel). He is also survived by numerous several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Xenia Nazarene Church (1204 W 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation in his memory.
