He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Orris and Ruth Orris (Parks); his daughter Tammy Orris; and his siblings, James, Paul Orris, Ida Mae Saylor (Dolly) and Janet (Statler).

He is survived by: his siblings, Glen Orris and Joan Conner; his sons, Jody Orris (Sara Lee) and Timothy Orris (Mayumi); his grandchild Ashton "Tora" Orris; and his close friends, Trudee and Bill Wagner. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.

Family requests contributions be made to Dayton Christian Schools in his memory.
