We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2019, at the age of 91, Edith Marie (Schnell) Allen (Xenia, Ohio), born in Pleasant Plain, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Schnell and Vivian "Maggie" Catron Schnell; her husband Floyd E. Allen; her son-in-law Barry Smith; and her brothers, Charles and Phillip Schnell.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Smith of League City, TX, Janet "Nan" Allen (Carl) and Wayne "Barry" Allen (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Kelli Noval (Aric), Douglas Smith, Katherine Van Der Roest, Joshua Allen and Robert Van Der Roest; and her great grandchildren, Alivia Noval and Masen Allen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Memorial United Presbyterian Church, 343 W. Ankeney Mill Rd., Xenia, OH, 45385, in her memory.
