He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Rumbaugh and Mary Benson Rumbaugh; his wives, Louise Stidham Rumbaugh and Mary Mills Rumbaugh; and his brother Thomas Rumbaugh.
He is survived by: his sister Frances Hilderbrandt (Richard). He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew, and by many close friends.
