He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Taylor (Helphinstine) of Nevada; his siblings, Dora Allen, Glen, Bobby, Lloyd, Leroy, John Taylor and Wayne Bryant; his son-in-law Jeff Dugan; and his grandson Derrick.

He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Bryant and Shawnette Dugan. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, 3 sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
