He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Quintana and Ernesto Lovato, Sr.; his stepfather Christopher Diggs, Sr.; and his siblings, Juanita H. Garret and Gabriel Lovato.
He is survived by: his daughter Shaylynn Kirk Lovato; his siblings, Ernestina Christina (Special Big Sister), Melinda Mitchell (Marvin), Elizabeth, Angel Diggs, Ernesto Lovato and Christopher Cutter Diggs, Sr. (Nateka); his grandchildren, Avianne, Taedin Howard, Charlie and Jennis Mitchell; his great grandchild Malik, Jr.; his friend Lou Herron; and his aunt Mary Lovato. He is also survived by his family and Baby Brother.
