It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Joseph Mayer of Xenia, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mayer and Winifred Mayer; and his siblings, Jerry Mayer, Delores Hennessey, Marilyn Shoman and Janet Stepoway.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mayer; his children, Steven Mayer, Christine Nichols (Thom), Kathleen Bergman (Bradley) and Molly Vaught (Jeff); his grandchildren, Megan, Camryn, Riley, Tommy, Ella, Mackenzie and Jack; his sister Bernadette "Buzzy" Bush; and his caregiver Dekara.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's memory to the St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Brigid Church.
