He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Evans and Etta Evans; his wife Cheryl Evans; his children, Charles Evans, Jr., Donald Evans and Christine Evans; and his grandson Johnny Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Evans, Ronnie Evans (Sunday Grinnell) and Rhonda Evans (John Hill); his grandchildren, Matt (Missy), Shawn (Manti), Tyler, Brandi (Chris), Brittany (Tony), Charles III, Lee and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Kanan of Isaac, A. J., Alliyah and Greyson.
