With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Jane Hodson of Xenia, Ohio, born in Bellbrook, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Boatman and Joan Boatman (Jones); and her husband Stephen Paul Hodson, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Joanna Hodson (Shan Edgington); her grandchildren, Lauren and Michael; her great grandchild Mercedez; her son Steve (Becky Hodson); her grandchildren, Kara (Levi), Nathan, Ellen, Gwen, Brianna, Julia and Henry; her daughter Sarah (Adam Mays); her grandchildren, Freddy, Layla and August; and her siblings, Rayann Brown, Doug Boatman (Janet) and David Boatman (Jennie). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Knowing Carolyn loved to bless family and friends in need, donations may be made to a memorial fund that has been established through Emmanuel Baptist Church.
