With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Jean Harris of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Carol Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carol Jean. Though Carol Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Neal Estridge and Emma Estridge (Samuels); her husband Gary D. Harris; and her sons, Michael Harris and Gary Dalton Harris II of Jeffersonville.

She is survived by : her grandsons, Jason Hall and Gary Michael Harris (Yolanda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McColaugh Funeral Home (826 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
