With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Jean Bowen of Xenia, Ohio, born in Lenore, West Virginia, who passed away on June 25, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Jean Bowen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Bryant Baisden and Robert Baisden; her stepmother Sadie Baisden; her husband John Bowen; her son Gene Bowen; her son-in-law Dick Kidd; and her siblings, Okie Baisden, Otis Baisden, Michael "Buddy" Baisden, Opal Maynard, Gladys Roski, Cleo Sturgle, Dory Gress, Lorene Conrad and Mary Baisden.

She is survived by: her children, Harriet Sweet (Ben), James Bowen (Janice), Rebecca Kidd, Betty Sparks (Frank), John Bowen (Cheryl) and Matt Bowen (Sharon); and her daughter-in-law Linda Bowen. She is also survived by numerous nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
