It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Perkins of Xenia, Ohio, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his birth mother Linnie Perkins (Maggard); his parents, Dewey Perkins and Alberta Perkins (Sergent); his siblings, Arnold Perkins (Juanita), Charles Perkins (Doshia) and Anna Thompson; his grandson Adam Mason; and his son-in-law Glenn Mason.
He is survived by: his children, Talema Mason, Aaron Perkins (Dawn), Jon Perkins (Kim) and Jennifer Perkins; his grandchildren, Nicholas Mason (Kim), Tiffany Jones (Jake), James Mason (Sabrina), Marisa Smith (Darius), Torie Carpenter (Justin), Austin Gastiger and Rosslyn Perkins; his sister Doris Hannaford; his sisters-in-law, Geneva Gillam, Helen Detillion and Lorene Pennington; and his wife Faye. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
