She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse R. Guffey and Evie M. Guffey (Ramey); her son Murray Holland; her stepdaughter Melinda Travis (Brian); and her siblings, Agnes Moss, Robert of Junior, J. L, Dorothy, Furman, Blanche and Kenneth Guffey.
She is survived by: her husband Leland Payne; her son Justin Davis (Claire) of Atlanta, GA; her brother Ronald Guffey of Dallas, NC; her stepchildren, Jerry Davis, Jr., Frances Jenkins (Jeffrey), Stephen Davis (Sabrina), Melissa Sanders (Danny) and Melanie VanHoose (Nick); her grandchildren, Brittany and Shanea Davis; her stepchildren, Chad Sanders (Tara), Cortney Catanzaro, Brandon VanHoose, Kyle VanHoose (Brianna) and Kamy VanHoose; and her great grandchildren, Lexy, Mia, Boston, Tytus, Roman, Callan and Eleanor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
