She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Brown and Burgie Brown (Bowlin); her son Charles "Chuck" Thomas; her husband Charles W. Thomas; and her son-in-law Timothy Lawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Lawson; her son-in-law Wayne Sharpe of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Tammy Chavies (John) and Adam Lawson (Nicole); her great grandchild Abigail O'Neel (Caleb); her grandchildren, Garrett Chavies (Kelsey), Jenna Chavies, Brayden Chavies, Gage, Kayden and Madelyn Lawson; her great great grandchild Charlotte Chavies; her extended Sharpe; and her friend Pauline King. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
