She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis "Bud" Brunner Sr. and Hazel Brunner (Meriweather); and her sisters, Janice Arthur, Virginia Hood and Brenda Brunner.

She is survived by: her children, Eunice Palmieri (Anthony), Jack Hamblin Jr., Kathryn Hamblin and Angela Smith-Hubbard; and her siblings, Christine Deaton, Louis "Buddy" Brunner Jr. (Margie) and Jeani Benton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
