He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Betty Thayer and Doris Eakins of Xenia; his nephew Michael Eakins (Brenda) of Beavercreek; his nieces, Marlene Simonton of Bossier City and Norma Jean Dougherty of Akron; his great-nephew Kyle Eakins of Hilliard; and his great-niece Amy Winningham (Geoffrey) of Delaware, OH.
