He is survived by: his wife BJ Fairhurst; his sons, Eric Fairhurst (Becky) of Wooster, OH., Mark Fairhurst (Cathy) of Englewood, OH. and Kirk Fairhurst (Donna) of Creston, OH.; his stepchildren, Shannon Delaney of Wooster and Ryan Delaney (Debbie) of Findlay, OH.; his grandchildren, Brianna Tichenor (Alex), Michale Piatt (Justin), Eric Fairhurst, Katherine Middlestetter (Caleb), Beka Fairhurst, Will Fairhurst, Anthony Fairhurst (Rachel), Grant Fairhurst (Colleen) and David Fairhurst (Sarah); and his stepgrandchildren, Grant Delaney (Becca), Reid Delaney (Elizabeth), Blake Delaney (Elizabeth), Drew Delaney (Megan Wright), Ashley Fedynich (Zach) and Adrian Evans.
