He was predeceased by: his wife Alverda; and his siblings, Ellen Horst, Roy, Doyle, Earl and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Bowers (Michele) of Wooster and Bonnie Smith (Greg) of Greenfield, IN; his grandchildren, Dan Bowers (Mary), David Bowers (Katie), Aaron Smith, Rachel Gonzáles (José) and Micah Smith; his great grandchildren, Kelly, Katy and Karly Bowers; and his brothers, Jim, Paul and Duane.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Northview Alliance Church (3464 Burbank Rd, Wooster, OH 44691). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
