He is survived by: his wife Leah K. Short; his daughter Megan Springstead (Steve Indorf) of West Salem, Ohio; his grandchildren, Bryson Springstead and Rylan Indorf; and his siblings, Mike Palmerton (Donna) of Colorado, Tracy Springstead (Karen) of Indiana, Kitty Horvath (Sandor) of Wooster and James Perkins (Gina) of Toledo, Ohio. He is also survived by friends; and his faithful feline companions.
