She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent Gompel and Johanna Van Gompel of Kimberly, Wisconsin.; her sons, Mark and John; her daughter-in-law Andrea Bednarowski of Dallas, Georgia.; and her siblings, Ann Mitchell of Appleton, Clement Van Gompel of Menasha, Wis., James Van Gompel and Gerald Van Gompel.
