He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dansberg and Ellen Whitehead Dansberg; his wife Julia "Cookie" Jones; and his sister Randi Jones. He is survived by: his children, Diana Yacapraro (Carl Jr.) of Wooster and Daniel Dansberg (Nalie) of Solon; his stepson Myron Shortlidge (Terri) of Lorain; his grandchildren, Angelo, Cathleen, Corey, Vittorio Yacapraro, Mika, Raeka, Mathyse Dansberg, Angelia Gunter, Jonathan Ramos and Jarrett Shortlidge; his great grandchildren, Julian, Skyy, Kennedy, Gino and Carlo; and his sister Susan Tarr of Cuyahoga Falls.
