With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley R. Purdum of Wooster, Ohio, born in Oak Hill, Ohio, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Yates (Simpson) and Clifford Yates; her husband William Purdum; and her siblings, Robert, William and Linda.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Cygan (Robert) of Wooster and Lori Coblentz (Ron) of Apple Creek; her grandchildren, Jesse Coblentz (Emelie) of Apple Creek, Joseph Coblentz (Kacie Leppla) of Apple Creek, Maggie Coblentz of Apple Creek, Jacob Coblentz of Apple Creek and Zachary Coblentz (Madyson Rohr) of Orrville; her great grandchildren, James Coblentz, Gabriel Coblentz and Adolynn Rohr; and her siblings, Beverly Purdum (George), Sue Clark (Herman), Pete Hendricks (Diane), Mark Hendrix (Rita), Kenny Yates, Jerry Yates (Linda) and Monica Ramey (Jim).
