It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Wenger Jr. (Wooster, Ohio), born in Orrville, Ohio, who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leroy Wenger, Willis Wenger, Ward Wenger, Ruth Huntsberger and Wilma Malcom; and his great grandchild Aaron Samuel Wenger.

He is survived by: his spouse Velma Burckhart; his children, Phyllis Wenger (Nelson) of Dalton, Rich Wenger (Sara) of Boston, MA, Dean Wenger (Theresa Lubke) of Marion and Glenn Wenger of Apple Creek; his stepchildren, Dale Amstutz (Linda) of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Larry D. Amstutz (Kathy) of Orrville, Steve Amstutz (Jan) of Dalton and Sue Jones (David) of Rock Hill, SC; and his sister Esther Steiner of Dalton.
