She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hanson and Mary Hanson (Puishis); her parents-in-law, Glenn and Mary Swinehart; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Hanson, Treva Biggs (John), Vincent Swinehart and Rodney Swinehart (Patricia).
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Swinehart of Wooster and Jan Herald (Larry) of Wooster; her grandchildren, Matthew Herald of Austin and Kristen Black (Jim) of Medina; her brother Al Hanson (Lita) of Woodstock, Georgia; her friend Esther Hedland of Wooster; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
